La Souris heeft een groot assortiment elektrische fatbikes met het eigen topmodel Don Souris Capo, La Souris E-Father en de La Souris Ape Ryders tot de merken Knaap fatbikes en Phatfour fatbikes.
Geen rijbewijs, helm en verzekering nodig en geen leeftijdsbeperking
Om gebruik te maken van een elektrische fatbike heb je geen rijbewijs nodig. Er zit geen leeftijdsbeperking op deze elektrische fietsen. Daarnaast is een helm niet verplicht op een fatbike. Ook heb je voor fatbikes geen kentekenplaat en geen verzekering nodig.
De stoere elektrische fiets met dikke banden
De elektrische ondersteuning zorgt samen met de brede (noppen)banden voor een stabiel tempo en een comfortabele rit. De bandenspanning is daarnaast gemakkelijk aan te passen voor onverharde wegen, waardoor je met weinig druk comfortabel over obstakels heen kan fietsen.
Wat is een elektrische fatbike precies?
Een fatbike met elektrische ondersteuning wordt ook wel een elektrische fatbike of fatbike genoemd. Een elektrische fatbike is een elektrische fiets met dikke banden. De fatbikes van La Souris zijn geschikt voor alle type terreinen door hun dikke noppenbanden, zowel op straat als off-road. Je kunt een fatbike eenvoudig herkennen aan zijn brede banden, dik frame en brommerlook.
Wat is het voordeel van een fatbike?
Een elektrische fatbike brengt meerdere voordelen met zich mee. Zo is het geen probleem om met slechte weersomstandigheden te gaan rijden. De brede (noppen)banden zorgen voor een betere bescherming tegen beschadigingen en obstakels. Ook hobbels vormen geen belemmering, waardoor je minder snel vermoeid raakt. Verder is een elektrische fatbike makkelijker mee te nemen in de auto dan bijvoorbeeld een scooter. Omdat je weinig last hebt van overig verkeer, is de elektrische fatbike dus het ideale voertuig voor een spannend avontuur.
Hoe rijdt een fatbike?
Een fatbike heeft door zijn brede banden een fijne wegligging en is makkelijk op meerdere wegen te gebruiken. Vind je het belangrijk om in shape te blijven? Met een fatbike is het een leuke uitdaging om je uithoudingsvermogen te trainen. De elektrische fatbike zorgt ervoor dat je in een stevige positie zit, waardoor je minder snel lichamelijke klachten kunt ondervinden. Hierdoor is het geen enkel probleem om een tas mee te nemen. De brede banden hebben een uitstekende grip op de weg en zorgen ervoor dat je niet heen en weer gaat stuiteren.
Heeft een elektrische fatbike onderhoud nodig?
Voor een goede staat van je fatbike, is het onderhoud van groot belang. Door je fatbike goed én op tijd te onderhouden voorkom je onnodige slijtage en kan je het maximale uit je accu halen*.
De eerste onderhoudsbeurt van een elektrische fatbike verricht je binnen 3 maanden na de aankoop van je fatbike of binnen het bereiken van de 500 kilometer. Daarna heeft een fatbike om de 6 maanden/2000 kilometer een onderhoudsbeurt nodig.
